OSHKOSH (WLUK) — What’s the best way to maintain a healthy walleye population in the Lake Winnebago system?
The plan covers lakes Winnebago, Poygan, Winneconne, and Butte des Morts along with all their tributaries, including the Wolf and upper Fox rivers, from their mouths upstream to the first dam.
Three public meetings are scheduled to allow the public to provide input on the plan. Those attending the meetings will also hear an update on the status of the walleye population in the system.
