1 Deer venison roast
2 Cups water
3 Tbsp butter
1 onion- diced
2 garlic cloves- diced or 2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp rosemary
5 potatoes chopped
Carrots (optional)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Place roast in crock pot and add water. For more flavor, replace water with beef stock. Brush on melted butter over roast. Add remaining spices onion, potatoes and carrots.
Cook on low 9- 10 hours or high 6 hours. Cooking time varies based on the size of the roast.
