6 crappie fillets
1 Lemon juiced or lemon juice equivalent
½ cup butter
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon dried parsley
2 tablespoons lemon pepper
3 garlic cloves, minced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Mix in lemon juice, salt, pepper, parsley flakes and garlic. Bring to a boil. Cook about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Place fillets on baking pan and cover the fillets with ½ of the butter sauce mixture and sprinkle with lemon pepper. Cover with foil and bake 15 to 20 minutes the fish flakes easily with a fork. Pour remaining sauce over filets prior to serving.
