1 Can water chestnuts (drained)
3-4 Walleye filets cut in to chunks
8-10 bacon slices
1/3 cup Sweet & Spicy BBQ Sauce
1/3 cup apricot fruit spread
1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
1 Tbsp cider vinegar
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
A sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds
Preheat broiler, place 1 water chestnut on top of fish chunks
wrap with bacon and secure with toothpick. Repeat until all fish is wrapped in bacon with water chestnut.
Line broiler pan with foil spray with cooking spray, place on foil.
Combine BBQ sauce, fruit spread, ginger, vinegar, red pepper flakes in bowl and stir.
Brush over fish place in broiler and turn, keep basting until done. Place in serving dish and sprinkle toasted sesames over fish and serve.
